Who helps Waldo?

In 2020, the Synapsis Foundation – Alzheimer Research Switzerland once again utilized World Alzheimer’s Day on September 21st to raise awareness about the issue of Alzheimer’s disease across Switzerland. With the theme “Who finds Waldo?”, the foundation challenged 1.2 million Swiss households to locate the fictional character Waldo, who represents someone living with Alzheimer’s, and provide assistance to him. Individuals who visited the microsite wer-hilft-walter.ch could engage in an interactive search and also learn about various preventive measures that can help reduce the risk of developing dementia. By participating in the game, participants not only helped Waldo but also contributed to their own mental fitness.
